Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Proudly Celebrating 70 Years of Service

Sisterhood and Service Since 1949
Greetings!
Welcome to our website!  We are so thrilled you decided to visit us here and we are excited to share with you a little bit about us.  We are Epsilon Nu Omega, the Denver Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, located in Denver, Colorado.  We proudly boast the Magnificent Mile High, the Majesty of our Purple Mountains and the beauty, strength, education and resilience of our beloved Ivies that have permeated these United States and abroad.  Chartered on October 22, 1949, Epsilon Nu Omega has proudly been of “Service to All Mankind” for over 70 years!

Founded on the campus of Howard University on January 15, 1908, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated was the first Greek Letter Sorority for African American women.  In our 112 year legacy, our current International Program, Exemplifying Excellence Through Sustainable Service, is a call to action and a call to service. The five targets that support our International Program are:

  • Target 1 – HBCU for Life: A Call to Action
  • Target 2 – Women’s Healthcare and Wellness
  • Target 3 – Building Your Economic Legacy
  • Target 4 – The Arts!
  • Target 5 – Global Impact

Our signature program, #CAPSM (College Admissions Process), is a commitment to serving and supporting our youth throughout their collegiate career, in the entire process, from application to graduation.

Epsilon Nu Omega chapter presents with a diverse group of over 100 college educated women whose accomplishments, backgrounds, talents and resources are as diverse as those represented.  From recent graduates to seasoned retirees, we are proud of our broad, multigenerational representation, as it affords us a greater opportunity to serve our local community and beyond.

Again, thank you for visiting our website.
We invite you to come back often to stay informed of our chapter events and, to see how you can be involved in supporting our efforts of service to all mankind.

Yours in service,
Sharon L. Hicks
President, Epsilon Nu Omega
